This “My Neighbor Luna” shirt, which is a mash up of Sailor Moon and My Neighbor Totoro, is for sale today at Tee Turtle for $12. TeeTurtle works a bit differently than other daily shirt sites in that the shirt will not be pulled after a day but instead will go up in price to $15 for the rest of the week and then up to $20 afterwards.
This shirt was previously sold in May at The Yetee. The artist is Karen Hallion. Check out her Facebook page or deviantART page for more of her stuff.
Another shirt a day site, TeeFury, has a Sailor Moon inspired t-shirt, or at least one that is partially Sailor Moon inspired. This “Free Kittens” shirt includes a ton of anime cats including Sailor Moon’s own Luna, Artemis and Diana. The shirt is $11 for one day only, June 11th 2013.
Also included on the shirt are, and forgive me if I get any of these wrong, the Cheshire Cat, Kon, Kirara, Meowth, Hello Kitty, Gatomon and four cats that aren’t familiar to me.
The shirt’s artist is ramyb who also runs the t-shirt site Tee Turtle which has a lot of great designs.
ShirtPunch has a racey shirt on sale today only for just $10. “Justice Underpants” shows us a Sailor Moon panty shot and a somewhat embarrassed Luna.

Today at The Yetee there are two shirts featuring a mix of Sailor Moon and My Neighbor Totoro. They are for sale today and today only for $11 each.
“Lunar Express” has Luna as a giant Cat Bus with Sailor Moon riding inside of her. The Japanese writing on the bus showing the destination says “Luna”. This shirt was done by Machmigo and you can find more of her art on her Facebook page.
“My Neighbor Luna”, has a giant Luna taking the place of Totoro and a relatively small Sailor Moon in the place of Satsuki in the iconic bus stop scene from the film and it’s movie poster. This shirt’s artist is Karen Hallion. You can check out her Facebook page for more of her art.
The Bluefin Tamashii Nations USA Facebook page has posted some new information about Bandai’s new S. H. Figuarts Sailor Moon figure. They specify the North American sale time to be in August or September. The MSRP is $42.99, pretty much equivalent to the Japanese price we saw earlier. It is also mentioned that the two new face we recently saw, that being the winking and crying Sailor Moon faces, will be 1st edition exclusives. Additionally the Luna figure which accompanies Sailor Moon is also a 1st edition exclusive.
Online store G. G. Infinite already has the figure up for pre-order. The cost on their site is $42.29 and they mention the figure will be released in September.
Update: This shirt sale has been delayed to April 22nd, not the 8th as originally reported. You have plenty of time to save up $12 in two weeks!
Starting Monday April 22nd this very cool “Adventure Moon” shirt which has Sailor Moon and Luna drawn in the style of Adventure Time will be sold at Tee Turtle. Tee Turtle works a bit differently from other t-shirt sites. The shirt will be on sale for $12 on Monday and then for $15 until April 28th, so pick it up on Monday if you can but if you miss it you’ll still have a chance to get it until the end of the week.
Sailor Moon Channel, the official Sailor Moon site, and Tamashii Nations have a new look at the Sailor Moon S.H. Figuarts figure from Bandai. This figure, made to commemorate Sailor Moon’s 20th Anniversary, is set to go on sale in August and comes with a small Luna figure. We last saw these figures at Bandai’s trade show last year. These new images show Sailor Moon’s moon stick which was not previously seen.
The figure has an MSRP of 4,410 Japanese Yen which is about $45 US, though North American fans can probably expect to pay a bit more of a premium to ship or buy an import of this toy. It will measure 14 centimetres, roughly 5.5″.
Keiko Han, the voice of Luna the cat from the Sailor Moon anime and live action series, and Yuko Minaguchi, the voice of Sailor Saturn from the anime, will be making appearance at the Animazement anime convention in North Caroline May 24th to the 26th.
Both of these Japanese voice actors have a ton of anime credits to their name and will surely have a very interesting perspective on the voice acting world in Japan and their roles in Sailor Moon. Though the schedule is not determined yet Animazement generally have guest panels and autograph signings. Check out Animazement’s guest page to see if any other of you favourite Japanese voice actors will be in appearance.
All day today, March 12th, this “Tournée du chat noir de la lune” t-shirt is on sale for $10 at Ript Apparel. This is the third time I’ve seen this shirt for sale on one of these shirt a day sites, though it’s the first time I’ve seen it in this colour.
The cat is Luna from Sailor Moon taking the place of the cat from an old poster advertising “Le chat noir”, a French 19th century cabaret which had a touring troupe that advertised with this poster. The French writing on the shirt roughly translates to “Tour of the black cat from the moon”.
