Sailor Moon’s Tiara and more in new images of Bandai’s figure

Sailor Moon S. H. Figuarts figure by Bandai - Moon Tiara Action

Moon Tiara Action! These new photos of Bandai’s Sailor Moon figure which will be released in August give us a first look at the Tiara in action! Notice also that Sailor Moon in this pose does not have her Tiara on her forehead, as this is a swappable face. Along with three new photos the Tamashii site also has an English blurb about the toys which reveals that there will be two Moon Sticks, one with the Silver Crystal and one without.

S.H.Figuarts Sailor Moon’s Posability & Articulation!

Intense action scenes highlight Sailor Moon’s image as a “Beautiful Soldier”.
The latest S.H.Figuarts articulation technology lets you fully enjoy the world of Sailor Moon.
You can recreate iconic action scenes of Sailor Moon from memory with your very own hands.
That is one of the greatest attractions of playing with action figures.
Part of the hair has been rendered with clear parts for enhanced realism.
S.H.Figuarts Sailor Moon will shine not only as an articulated action figure but as an elegant display piece.
A full array of interchangeable faces and hands in the set help reproduce dynamic anime scenes.
Also, 2 types of Moon Sticks (with/without Silver Crystal), and effect parts for “Moon Tiara Action” will expand the playability of “S.H.Figuarts Sailor Moon”.

3D Render of a new Sailor Moon figure from China's ACG Comic Expo

New figures of Sailor Moon and the rest of the nine Sailor Soldiers will be available in May from Legend Studio.

New Sailor Moon S figures from ACG Comic Expo

Sailor Moon Collectibles reports that a few pictures from the ACG Comic Expo in Guangzhou, China from December have surfaced. These pictures show that there will be the nine figures of Sailor Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Pluto, Uranus, Neptune and Saturn. Unfortunately we just get cutouts with no real indication of what the toys would look like for most of the girls but we get a bit more of a look at Sailor Moon herself. There are some CG renders of the Sailor Moon figure and it’s individual parts which gives us a good idea of what the finished product might look like. We see for example that the figure will have a number of swappable faces and by seeing all the pieces we can get a good idea of the articulation the final product might have.

Momoiro Clover Z’s new song about Furby

Momoiro Clover Z - Furby commercial

Momoiro Clover Z, the band that will be performing the theme song for the new 2013 Sailor Moon anime, are currently promoting the new line of Furby toys! That’s right, Furby’s back! The new Furby toys are actually pretty amazing. I picked one up last week and they can do all kinds of awesome things and now have an iOS app that can interact with them to feed them, translate and stuff.

So basically the band Momoiro Clover Z has released a commercial and music video all about Furby in which they are dressed up like Furbies and they … well sing and dance! These girls are no strangers to elaborate colourful costumes, and this excuse seems as good as any to get colour coordinated and have some fun.

Here’s their latest music video “Wee-Tee-Wee-Tee” which according to my Furbish dictionary means “Sing Sing”. Is this the first song title to be in Furbish? I certainly hope so!

How do you like the song?
