Fans of the first 3/5th of Sailor Moon Crystal who may not have bothered to buy previous Blu-Ray sets will be happy to learn that a new, somewhat less expensive, set is coming in just a few days! Sailor Moon Crystal Season 1-3 Collection is a Blu-Ray release with all 39 episodes bundled together as a single set coming June 9th 2026. This is all of Sailor Moon Crystal which has previously been released on home video domestically, though this does not include the Sailor Moon Eternal and Sailor Moon Cosmos films which complete the series by adapting the two final manga arcs. Unfortunately those films, current available to stream on Netflix, are not available to purchase in North America and no physical release includes an English dub or sub.
So what is this release, exactly? Previously Sailor Moon Crystal’s first three seasons were released in nice looking collector’s sets which included some nice booklets and postcards and fun stuff like that. This is a simpler release with less bells and whistles, ideal for fans that enjoy Sailor Moon but aren’t obsessed enough to have bought the other Blu-Rays on the day they were released, or the fans that are so obsessed that they don’t mind getting a second or third version of the series on Blu-Ray because they make bad choices with their money. The set will include the English dub of Sailor Moon Crystal by Viz as well as the original Japanese audio and optional English subtitles.

MSRP for this set is $104.98 but as of this moment the set is selling for $59.95 on Amazon. For three seasons this is a pretty nice price.
Let us hope that someday the other 40% of Sailor Moon Crystal will be released on home video! There was a Japanese release but those are expensive and without English audio or subtitles. The Sailor Moon Eternal Blu-Ray is out of print but available used and the Sailor Moon Cosmos Blu-Ray is probably going to be hard to find soon.
