This good Friday, March 25th, the latest English dubbed episode of Sailor Moon Crystal will be added to Hulu and Neon Alley. In Act 20, Crystal Tokyo – King Endymion, the gang arrive in the Crystal Palace of the future and meet the ghost/hologram of King Endymion. What’s more there’s a big revelation! We will finally learn who Chibiusa’s parents are. Who do you think it will be? Rei and Mamoru? Luna and Artemis? Sailor Iron Mouse and Rhett Butler? It could be anyone!!
This week we will see, and hear, Diana, the adorable kitten who is the daughter of Luna and Artemis. Diana’s role is severely diminished in the original anime to the point where we have still not seen her in the new English dub of the original anime released by Viz. While we even have the cast of Sailor Moon S announced Diana doesn’t show up until Sailor Moon SuperS of the original anime so there has been no announcement of her voice actor. I’m curious to hear her. Who do you think it will be?

Who’s the VIZ English voice for Diana?
Okay, I admit it. It’s me! I’m Diana’s voice actor! I huff a ton of helium so that my voice is super squeaky and girlish and cute, and then I go record my lines. I needed the work to pay for my bills, but my deep voice or my scary stories alone don’t suffice (though the latter are well-reviewed on Amazon). I hope you enjoy hearing Diana in English for the first time in years, because I suffered for this part!
I hope Diana’s voice is good for the English dub. Are those the correct color of Diana’s eyes in the manga and how about Luna? I keep seeing her with blue eyes and then it seems some have Luna with red eyes like the 90’s anime. It’s sad that Diana isn’t introduced until SuperS in the 90’s anime. I guess they didn’t like Chibi Moon or her cat.
I’m going to miss these character designs. They didn’t do such a good job on the animation except in certain cases like the opening or speeches, but when they did this was great.
