New details about Bandai’s Figuarts ZERO Sailor Moon figure

Sailor Moon Figuarts ZERO figure in colour

The Tamashi Nations Sailor Moon site has been updated with colour images of their upcoming Figuarts ZERO Sailor Moon figure which will be available in March from Bandai and Volks. We had previously only seen a grey prototype of this toy. The image below shows it next to the S. H. Figuarts figure to demonstrate scale, which is useful only to people who actually have the S. H. Figuarts figure which is itself a fairly small toy. It will be 22 cm tall, roughly 8.5″. It is priced at 8,800 yen which is about $91 US so get started on that loan application now. You can preorder this toy from JList for a mere $110.

This figure is not posable and is modelled after Sailor Moon from the Sailor Moon R arc of the anime, as Sailor Moon is seen with her Cutie Moon Rod and Crystal Star Brooch.

  1. It appears to be a non-poseable lump of plastic. I hate those.

Now if they would make a 12 inch version of the S.H. Figurearts line, that I might pay a hundred bucks for.

    • Do u have a too cool store where u live? If so, they have the posable sailor moon figure for $42.99. I went to too cool 2day and they have it. They also have the non posable one.

  2. It’s very nice, but I’m not going to lie, I was kind of hoping it would be the same size as the figuarts one! At that price, I’m not sure I’m going to be able to spring for it.

  3. That’s too expensive for what it is, in my opinion. Plus, theres’ something off about her face…it’s too long or masculine or something. Still a nice pose and the details of her costume are pretty.
I’m hoping the S collection is not so expensive. Haven’t heard anymore about it though.
