  1. Im just gonna copy paste what i said in the other post cuz my feelings on the initial watch still stand:
They are all pretty, i guess. But they hold no weight into them what so ever, and the animation quality is pretty low for a movie tbh (not to mention the reuse of animation from season 3 which still aggravates me, what the hell toei, you couldnt have shida animate 5 seconds of new animation?) . If it was anything else i would honestly be fine but the transformations? Really? One of the most iconic things about sailor moon? Sad. (Also i find it so odd that they decided to release this instead of a full on trailer)

  2. I don’t know if it’s already been posted here but the full version of the sailor moon eternal song sung by momoiro clover z has come out. Apparently they sang it live idk where or why, probably to promote the movie, heres the link:

I gotta say the only thing i love about this song is the guitar solo. Its just way too happy go-lucky for me, it has no power to it, but it does have a sailor moon feel i guess. I have seen a mostly positive response to the song and im happy for that, but as far as my taste goes, it’s a no from me :/ (the electric guitar part is great tho)

  3. Ok, the inner senshi transformations are impressive and beautiful. However, they could be more fluid, flowy, and, well, ANIMATED! LOL But they are still better than the Season 3 inner senshi transformations these are based off of. It looks like Mercury got a little more new in her animation, and Venus got a lot more new. But they are getting one thing wrong: the water, fire, lightning and stars/ribbon are supposed to be what forms their Sailor fukus, not just accompany their fukus appearing all by themselves! It also looks like in the clip of Mars Flame Sniper we saw in the trailer, that their planet symbols don’t appear in their hands when they attack. WTF? That’s wrong! Anyway, like saintfighteraqua said, Mercury’s transformation is gorgeous!

    • Whoops! I actually think I was wrong and that water is forming Mercury’s fuku, and then it just leaves behind a ribbon of water. That’s very cool! Jupiter and Venus still don’t have excuses for how their lightning and star ribbon don’t form their fukus! >:(

  4. Glad to see they at least addressed the biggest pet peeves from season 3- Mars’ high heel showing up in henshin mode, and taking out those bizarre hand waves/wiggles during Usagi’s battle cry.

    • I am unsure of what you mean by the bad hand wave in Sailor Moon’s speech, but if it’s what I’m thinking of, it wasn’t in the video because they just didn’t show that part. And I like that hand wave, she’s just throwing her hand up in the air. But I am happy about Mars’ high heel not being in her henshin form! That always annoyed me!

  5. so where by chance are there heart transformation crystals?? or am i just not seeing enough of there transformation to see them using em? will suck if they dont use them kinda like uranus and neptune from season 3 not having any transformation items… it looks nice and im still wondering how there gonna fit in so many parts into just 2 movies

  6. I am going to be honest and say that I was expecting some new animation, but with the disappointing Moon Crisis transformation I am not too sure this would be realistic. However, I have to say it appears even though they retraced the majority of the season 3 transformations they did decent for some of the inners. Mercury has the best transformation. Jupiter has the worse. I do not understand why Jupiter did not get any new animation she had the worse last season as well. Venus looks like it got a little extra and they changed it up a bit. Mars looks decent, but Mercury seems to have the best animation. I hope I am wrong about it all and they all look decent. I was thinking they would each have a transformation device since I kept on seeing them draw these hearts seem to look like a more designed heart then the brooch that they have. I hope the outers will have better transformations, but with this I doubt it.

    • I completely agree that Mercury has the best transformation and Jupiter has the worst! Why couldn’t they make Jupiter’s more different from the original series and Crystal’s first two seasons, like the others’ are so different from those? And Venus’ is definitely changed more, too. And I want to see their heart crystals, too! And the outer senshi transformations better be better this time, too!
