Here’s a great look at what the cast of the live action Sailor Moon series look like now, 10 years later. The whole recently got together to celebrate the 28th birthday of Keiko Kitagawa, Sailor Mars in the series. It’s great to see that these girls are still getting together nearly 10 years after the last episode aired. Just a short while ago they also got together to celebrate Ayaka Komatsu’s birthday.

I saw PGSM back in high school, and loved it. Sure, the youma were silly, but it was still fun and the emotions felt real. Maybe in a few years we’ll see another live-action adaptation…though maybe in more of a movie format. You never know.
I liked it a lot at first, but I found it got too melodramatic by the end. Minako’s death by brain tumor was just too much for me… it was like watching fanfiction at that point.
