Viz and Eleven Arts have released a list of cities and theatres which will be playing Sailor Moon R: The Movie early in 2017! Some show times are still to be determined, though most are in January with a few in February. The list is available at the Eleven Arts web site. I’ve included it at the end of this post for those who are too lazy to click on that link. Viz has confirmed that more cities will be added later! There are currently no Canadian cities on this list but I remain hopeful that some will be added as we get closer to the release date!
The movie will be screened either in English or in Japanese with English subtitles. Some showing are marked “DUB” or “SUB” to reflect this. When not specified as a note the dubbed version will be shown.

You can almost certainly buy at the door assuming it doesn’t sell out. Last anime movie I saw in theatres was the new Ghost in the Shell and there was almost no one there. Hard to predict how this will do!

Kosova was a much bigger state long ago, but there were a ton of wars that happend in my contry so now ,a lot of cities that were before a part of Kosova, are now a part of our neighbor states, now there are two states with the same nation, my state Kosova and another state called Albania ( I’m Albanian btw)

Hmm, I didn’t know that France had those serious inner problems,I went there for a short time like 2 or 3 days so I wouldn’t know about those, I mean every states has problems but some of them have serious problems and some of them have problems, despite the fact if theyre big or not, politicians should work on every problem so they could erase them from a state.

I don’t think there’s anything to worry about here- Toei is notorious for providing zero updates for long periods of time (I hate them so much for that). They’ve release SMC S3 on DVD and are launching the SMC figuarts- I bet we hear something in March/April about the Dream Arc and it airs over spring/summer again.
When will this be offered in Winnipeg Canada. We love Sailor Moon too.

Of course in New stork it’s only playing in the city and not in a regular theatre. This is rediculous, sadly I’ll be missing it because I don’t drive in the city, it’s 4 hours from me and I don’t have money to just take a bus down just too see a movie and come back. They should have thought about this better and got it in all theaters before releasing it.
You think it’s too late to assemble some anime fans and email a local theater to pick it up? There’s one in my area that’s done these sorts of events in the past.
