The Sailor Moon 4-D ride is once again returning to Universal Studios Japan! This event originally took place in 2018 as Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon The Miracle 4-D and then came back in 2019 with more characters under the name Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon The Miracle 4-D – Moon Palace Edition. Well we’re adding more words to what is now being called Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon The Miracle 4-D – Moon Palace Edition Deluxe coming in 2021. The ride will start on March 4th and run until August 28th.
The big new thing for this version of the ride is the inclusion of the Sailor Guardians in their princess dresses. I’ve not actually attended this event but from what I understand the 4-D is basically a 3D film with some other stuff thrown in. Moving your seat around and other environment sort of things.
Evidently the pandemic is still very much a thing which may be why this event was not held in 2020 or 2021. It remains to be see what things are like in Japan or elsewhere from March to August of this year and whether or not fans from outside of Japan will be able to safely travel to Universal Studios Japan in Osaka to attend this exhibit.
Have you been lucky enough to attend any of these shows in the past? If so, what did you think? Do you hope to be able to attend in 2022 or are you going to hold out for a later year when they’ll have something like Super Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon The Miracle 4-D The New Challengers Moon Palace Edition Deluxe Turbo HD Remix SuperS Eternal 30th Anniversary + Bowser’s Fury?

Official Sailor Moon products for pets are coming to Japan in March
After years of the Sailor Princesses being limited to a couple colour illustrations, concept art, and a few manga panels, it’s wild to see them used in merchandise and media projects.

My wife and I went to the Cool Japan event for 2018 for this and Final Fantasy. The Shrek 3D theather was adapted to have a Sailor Moon 3D show and it was really good. Have very few photos since they didnt allow them. Its a very nice to see show.
It’s nice to finally see comments with actual firsthand experience and not just “wow that’s so cool I will never buy/visit this but so still so hype”.

I went to a couple Universal rides ages ago where they did stuff to the audience to try to ‘include’ you, but it’s not my favorite thing.
Is King Koopa going to try kidnapping the Moon Princess for a change instead of Peach? He’ll be in for a big surprise.
I hope they release all of the movie video some day. It would be nice to see it since I don’t want to travel to Japan for it. would be really cool if florida park had this but will never happen. :-O
