We recently posted about the new lingerie and dresses from Peach John but all we had to share were boring pictures of the outfits. “What would these look like if they were worn by me”, asked our readers, most of whom are Japanese pop stars. Well good news! You’ll look like this new image which was posted to the official Sailor Moon site.

The model wearing these four items is AKB48 star Haruna Kojima. AKB48 is a Japanese pop band comprised of 48 members. She has been a member since the beginning. The outfits worn in the photos are the Saior Moon lingerie, the Princess Serenity dress, the Black Lady dress and Usagi’s school uniform.

The first round of Sailor Moon pyjamas and lingerie were released in February. Now, as posted on the official Sailor Moon site, Peach John is expanding their line to include lingerie of all 10 Sailor Guardians as well as 7 dresses including some school uniforms. They now offer lingerie for rest of the Sailor Guardians, Sailor Uranus, Neptune, Saturn, Pluto and of course the completely inappropriate Sailor Chibi Moon lingerie! The existing and new lingerie items have also been upgraded to include a skirt! They still include the original bra top, panties and choker on top of the new skirts. That’s right, you’ll need to upgrade your Sailor Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus lingerie sets. All sets cost 7,538 yen (about $70 US).

This round isn’t all about lingerie! Bandai is also offering some costume style dresses of some of the Sailor Guardians’ civilian school uniforms as well as dresses for Princess Serenity and Black Lady. Go to school dressed up as Usagi, Ami, Rei, Makoto or Minako. The school uniforms are 5,378 yen (about $50 US). If you’re really rich the Princess Serenity dress is 14,018 (about $130 US) though at a slightly more affordable 9,698 (about $90) you might be able to convince your father to buy you the Black Lady dress.

Pre-orders from Premium Bandai begin September 19th.

This lingerie bears a striking resemblence to SciFeyeCandy’s sexy cosplay items. I saw these at Unplugged Expo and when I first saw these new lingerie items as the similarity was immediately obvious. Some people are suggesting the designs are inspired by these though it’s impossible to tell if this is the case or if the similarity is a mere coincidence.

Peach John, a mail order lingerie company in Japan, is producing a line of official Sailor Moon panties, bras and pyjamas including costume lingerie! Yes that’s right, these are official Sailor Moon products that are currently advertised on the official Sailor Moon site. Pre-orders are now open and run until December 25th. The items will be released in February. They can be ordered through Bandai’s site.

The costume lingerie (bra set) items are certain to be a popular items. You can cosplay as Sailor Moon, Mercury, Mars, Venus or Jupiter in these less than completely show accurate outfits who’s designs are partly inspired by the original costumes with Sailor Moon’s original transformation broach appearing on her bra but with stars appearing on most chokers which is consistent with costumes from the SuperS series. The sets come with a bra and panty piece as well as a ribbon choker. These would hardly be functional under most clothing as the bows and other awkward parts would be quite cumbersome. I’m sure fans can find an appropriate time to wear such things. Each set costs 4980 yen, about $48.50 US.

The panties come in three designs. The black pair feature a pink silhouette of Sailor Moon and the words “Sailor Moon” on the back. The white pair have an orange silhouette of Sailor Moon and the words “Pretty Guardian” on the back. The lavender pair have a green silhouette of Sailor Moon and the words “Moon Prism Power Make Up!” on the back. Each pair costs 1800 yen, about $17.50 US.

The bra and panty lingerie sets (called bra sets) come in a navy or pink designs and are decorated in moons and stars. Each sells for 3980 yen, about $39 US.

Finally the less sexy pyjamas come in a navy top and yellow stripped bottom design as well as a pink stripped top with blue bottom design. The blue colour is referred to as “sax”, whatever that means. Both feature an adorable design of Luna and Artemis similar to that which has been seen in other products such as the cell phones cases. The pyjama sets are the same price as the costume lingerie at 4980 yen, about $49.50 US.
