I agree. They could even just try the market out with digital.
As it is, they are losing money to the subbers like Miss Dream (bless her and her work) who supply them for fans.
They should pay her for her subs and release them officially for us.

I don’t know why they won’t release these musicals on Blu Ray with English subtitles. They must know there’s clearly an international demand for an official release of these. If a miracle were to happen and Viz somehow was able to license the musicals, I would gladly buy them all, even some of the cheesier older musicals because Sailor Moon is my favorite series and I want everything Sailor Moon related. There’s like all this money just floating around to make Naoko even richer than she already is yet for some reason they want to keep these musicals exclusively for themselves. Even if no one can license it in America, they could easily put it on BD with subs for a Japanese market and I’m sure a ton of Western fans would gladly import them. It all seems like such a waste they won’t do this.

I really enjoyed this musical, I’m sad that the 5 original senshi will be leaving because they were really hitting their stride. The girl who plays Hotaru is absolutely fantastic, I hope she has a long and successful stage career because she’s got something special.

Usagi’s wig is so much prettier in these new musicals than the ones from Sera Myu of the 90’s!
