the official teaser trailer for Season 3 is out and the animation is just awful, there is no major progress in animation and those new lips (or better say no lips) look just horrendous

I never understood when anime/manga had characters with closed eyes. It always made the characters odd just because usually you see smaller eyes and obviously anime has the opposite problem where eyes take up have the face but yeah closed eyes just make the character look off. Brock kind of creeped me out as a kid.

I can’t believe they didn’t fix the issue of the wrong weapon and attack usage for this episode. I mean with only 13 episodes for this arc you think they would have enough time to look over for mistakes. It was not even a major fix. I have noticed mistakes of the 90’s anime as well that they should fix if they ever do a real HD/4K/8k disc release in Japan. This is a completely obvious mistake in the scene. The moon stick doesn’t even look like the cutie moon rod.

I don’t expect Viz to do anything with the visuals. If it isn’t fixed in Japan, it won’t get fixed.

It was a good dubbed episode. Makoto’s voice is perfect.
I am still annoyed that they didn’t fix the scene where Usagi uses the Moon Stick Staff instead of the Moon Rod for Princess Halation…such a big mistake that would have been so easy to fix. I didn’t think Viz would have fixed it…but I don’t see that it would have been hard for them to do it either…these episodes have already been edited, not like it would have hurt the purity of them.
