I am interested in seeing the English dub of this and I am eagerly awaiting the end of the subs. Overall this was a disappointing season. Even though the beginning few episodes were interesting (episodes wrapping up the super s enemy) it had so many plot holes. This and super s were my least favorite seasons. Overall they definitely developed the characters but I have to admit I was never a fan of the star lights especially when I barely saw sailor Saturn and this season just made her look bad and she appeared only at the beginning and the end. Overall a disappointing season. Also this season the enemy and plot made the least amount of sense. This season Galaxia and the monster of the week episodes made even less sense than previously.

Too bad the original didn’t focus much on Saturn or the the outer sailor soldiers.

Maybe if this was a Pretty Cure show. One of my favorite scenes in this episode is the scene where Luna and Artemis warn the audience about being careful when crossing the road in real life. I wonder if Toei was parodying Sailor Moon Says since the DiC dub of Sailor Moon had already been out for a few years by the time this episode aired?

Silver Moon Crystal Power Kiss should have been the ultimate, most powerful attack but Sailor Stars treat it like an ordinary sequence and because of that, I believe the monster of the day is the biggest mistake that they have made for the rest of the series, every thing revolves around that concept. I am glad Crystal rectify all that. I just hope the animation will be better than the previous arcs. *fingers crossed*

Considering that the main characters are magical warriors in skirts fighting funny looking monsters that consistently show up in the same neighborhood as them and that they are all reincarnated aliens and they talk to cats, is a kingdom of sweets so hard to believe in?

Episode 186 is one of my all time favorite filler in episodes of Sailor Moon. It always makes me crack up no matter how many times I’ve seen it. I love how everyone is following Usagi and Chibi Chibi without knowing the reason and that it turns out Usagi had this absurd belief that Chibi Chibi was from a kingdom of sweets.

The whole contest-to-associate-with-an-idol-or-love-interest is an old trope in anime and manga. I’ve read like, two or three different mangas over the years that have used that trope at some point. It’s dumb, but it’s so much fun. I’m still waiting for the person getting challenged to try and trick or switch things up on the challenger as retribution for their arrogance, though.
Still, great episodes. Some of my favorite from this season.
