I never got that impression when I first saw it and I always thought her dress was an animation error. While I have genuinely enjoyed Crystal, I still think the ending to the first season was better in the original anime. The original anime’s ending was shocking and heart breaking and it still makes me cry every time I watch it. The Crystal ending feels rushed and a bit cliched though I love the ending to the Crystal version of the Black Moon arc better than the 90s anime ending of R.

Not sure if they said that in the Japanese version, but it’s a little weird here in the English.

Other than that, I have no problem whatsoever with this episode.

It really does add a bit of character development that the Japanese version was lacking. I especially liked Luna’s when she and Artemis went to the moon.
