These episodes are probably the best of the season but it still feels more predictable and anti-climatic than the other season finale arcs. I was also disappointed the Quartet didn’t become Sailor Guardians in the anime as this would have been a good time for this to happen. I hope we’ll get the Dream arc adapted faithfully in Crystal so we can finally see this story told properly.

I aways liked the part there the senshis reflections talked to them, it gave a lot of insigt with a wrry simple method :3 One of my fav scenes ever in the oriinal anime.

I wonder what the conversation was like between Chibiusa and the other Guardians after Nehelenia was defeated.
Mamoru: “Chibiusa, why didn’t you tell us this magic flying horse that’s been helping us all this time despite being on the run from the group that wanted to capture it but never made any real attempt to do so whenever he showed up was hiding in your dreams?”
Chibiusa: “He made me promise not to tell!”
Usagi: “We’re just concerned about your safety. Besides, I don’t like the way he’s been looking at you.”
Mamoru: “Yeah, we’re going to have to talk about that.”
Chibiusa: “Oh look, my training is complete. Time to go back to the future.”
That’s probably what went down.

In the manga it kind of is, Nehelenia is portrayed as Queen Serenity’s evil twin from either the moon’s dark side or its core.

For some raeson I always got the impression that the Dead Moon was part of the Moon Kingdom, maybe on the other side or something. Maybe it’s an alternate universe moon that appears from time to time.
Oh Sailor Moon, why are you so confusing.

And anime version of Golden Crystal is dumb. I wonder what ever happened to it, they obviously don’t consider it the same as Mamoru’s Star Seed.
