I finally got around to watching the new musical this afternoon. It was really amazing and very emotionally powerful and tragic. I was surprised at how dark it was. The other versions of Sailor Moon have their elements of darkness but it seemed like this musical really increased it and I loved it. The actress for Hotaru was incredible, especially since this was her first time acting in a musical and I hope we’ll get to see her in more stuff. She wold be really good in a J-horror movie. Sailor Uranus and Neptune are fabulous of course. It’s a shame the actresses for the Inners are graduating here. Has any reason been given as to why they’re changing the cast? Everyone seemed like they really enjoyed their time with Sailor Moon and no one seemed like they wanted to leave. Usagi at one point in the musical bluntly said she hoped her contract could get renewed. I just don’t know why they’re randomly changing the cast when everyone seems to love them and they all seem on board with doing more.

let´s just talk about 3rd phase a little… I think since the rebroadcast of SMC is also 1 episode per week, I think there will be no new episodes of SMC until sometimes in April 2016
