I never heard it pronounced neither, but I’d say you can try with the French pronunciation if you find it’s a good one. Basically, to make it in English, you have to replace the “i” by a double “e” (or a simple “e”) and pronounce her name “Pteelol”.

In French, small = petit (the “t” is completely mute), that we often transform into “p’tit” by elision. That’s why Ptilol sounds like a wordplay to my ears : “p’tit lol” (“small lol”) ;p .

I find the villains amazing ! Tomoe, Kaolinite, the Witches 5… All of them look great !

Especially Kaolinite. I understand that they wanted to take a woman for Tomoe, since the rest of the cast is composed by females, but since Tomoe isn’t a bishonen in the manga, it’s a little weird.

How do you pronounce Ptilol’s name? I don’t remember if the old dub changed her name and if they didn’t I don’t remember how they said it.
