The thing is, anybody with functioning brain cells KNOWS what pseudoscience is. Unless you are a child (or child-minded) the fact that fortune telling, crop circles, dowsing and channeling are all scams to deceive the gullible is not new news. The only adults who buy into this nonsense are the ones who never outgrew their imaginary friends (in the form of gods, angels or ghosts of their dead relatives) and at this point no amount of yelling “THIS ISN’T REAL!!!” is going to convince them otherwise.

Heeey. we have some progress here! have u noticed in ep 16 we had one funny face experssion of usagi. – that gave me one second nice feeling (uh, hehe… like old anime…), and then episdoe 17! amazing! they used some more funny face expressions! does it mean there gonna be more in 18th and further??? cant wait

Whether a second season is announced, I doubt a TV broadcast will have much influence on how it turns out. Toei’s new anime series, World Trigger, is broadcast on TV in Japan and it has even worse animation quality than Sailor Moon Crystal and it’s been announced to run for a full 52 episodes even though most everyone hates it and agrees the manga is a lot better.
