That must be when I saw it then. For some reason I thought it was in ’99. But I remember Moltar hosting the Lunar Eclipse marathon, I was sick that day and I’d never watched Sailor Moon before, and I ended up marathoning it.

Yeah I realised that later. Unfortunately back in the day the credits didn’t really say who did what and we didn’t have great sites like IMDB or specific anime voice actor lists to help us out. I had to use my ears to tell who was who.

I have been a Sailor Mars fan since before 1997! The Internet was harder back then. I wrote all that in Notepad. These days I give no thought to formatting, I just let WordPress do it.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought these episodes were more accurate and actually pretty good for DiC although I always liked Raye’s first English VA better. It should be noted her replacement English VA for these episodes later went on to play Sailor Venus in the Cloverway dub of S and SuperS.

It was only about a year’s difference between their release. The final 17 episodes aired in Canada in fall 97 and they premiered in the U.S. on Cartoon Network in late 98. I remember their Lunar Eclipse marathon they had where they showed the final 17 episodes of R back to back on a Saturday afternoon one time. I’m glad to see the web master of this blog’s snarky reviews hasn’t changed much in all these years.

By the way, it’s strange, I remember Cartoon Network claiming these were the “lost episodes”. Were they aired a few years before on YTV in Canada than on CN in America?

Well, your website skills have definitely improved quite a bit since then. And I see Sailor Mars is front and center on that banner thing. I guess some things never change.
