I personally like Mars and Moon best when they are working together as best friends or going at one another. They seem to have the best developed relationship in the original anime of any characters, including Usagi and Mamoru.

It’s not like it’s Usagi’s fautl that Naru was intended to be a minor character but the way this blog writes about Usagi, between the rants about Naru and Usagi “stealing” Rei’s “boyfriend”, you’d think she was the most evil and heartless character in the show.

It’s silly, but it’s got some interesting character dynamics and in the end we see Mamoru fall for Usagi and understand why. As for the enemies enrolling in the characters’ school…well, they’re hunters. Hunters study their prey in order to get the best results in hunting. Hence they pretend to be the prey in order to get the prey.
