If you compare them to the reused-a-million-times transformation scenes from the original show, they are extremely terrible and lazy. I mean, come on – you can’t tell me that thick hair that looks like MUD moving in the air is seriously good animation?

No. It’s lazy. Lazier than reusing the same gorgeously animated scene for each transformation.

It’s so gross that it’s turned me off from watching the show completely. I was a rabid Sailor Moon fan – I even bought the makeup – but now? Screw that. Not wasting my money on this release and canceling my Crunchyroll account (it was seriously the only reason I got it).
