Uhh… most likely the price it would take to GET them there? Airfare from Japan is NOT cheap- I also don’t know how these things work with conventions, but they’d probably be asking for a pretty penny to be there, too, given that they’d be flying longer than they would actually be there. There’s also language barriers that get in the way of them speaking in panels and to fans, which might be solved with a translator (more money?) Even if a proficient translator were to volunteer, it would still be clumsy come panel time or trying to talk to a lot of people.
The dub actors should be just as highly regarded as the original ones. While I myself prefer to watch the show with the original voice actors these days, nothing changes the fact that I was introduced to and fell in love with the show with the help of these amazing people. The same goes for most of us in the western world that speak English.
Thanks SO much to sailormoonnews.com for all of the coverage and exclusive interviews. I’m glad these guys are meeting up at all of these conventions so frequently these days- they deserve the recognition!!!

damn so many dub actors conventions and none of the original japanese seiyuu conventions… why is that
